TAG #1

So I'm not the best blogger, and I just realized that Whitney tagged me who knows how long ago. So here I go!

1. I was 4 years old.
2. I lived in Denver, Colorado and my best friends name was Amanda Calley.
3. I remember liking jelly shoes, dancing, and not much else.

1. I was 14, eighth grade at Snow Canyon Middle.
2. I had braces.
3. I sat the bench on the basketball team, had major obsessive crushes on several boys (one at a time though), and was aspiring to be a professional ballerina.

1. I was living at my Grandmas in Bountiful attending the U.
2. Was hopelessly waiting for a missionary while trying to find boys to "just be friends" with to pass the time.
3. The best dancer I had ever been, and probably at my peak.

1. Had been married six months.
2. Graduated from the U with my bachelors in Sociology in a record 2 1/2 years out of High School. Had about 6 different jobs teaching dance at various studios.
3. We went to the Dominican Republic to see Aron's mission. It was my favorite place I have ever been (besides Hawaii and Havasupi) and I can't wait to go back!!!

1. Had the cutest 9 month old in the world.
2. Started "Expressions Dance" in Bountiful and became the busiest entrepenuer there will ever be.
3. We took a trip to Costa Rica. What an adventure!

This year...
1. I bought a second studio. (what the heck was I thinking)
2. We moved into our investment house in Layton and officially became like the rest of the world and are living well outside of our means. We are so thankful that we have survived this far and have no idea how we are making it!
3. We went to pretty much every home game to watch the Jazz! Ashton is the biggest and youngest jazz fan there is!!! He knows his daddy works where Boozer plays, so when I tell him Dad's at work he always chants "Boozer!!!" "Go Jazz!" He is really missing the games.

Yesterday I...
1. Went to Bear World in Rexburg, Idaho. Ashoton loved it.
2. Had a Jimmy Johns sandwich! They don't have one of those close to our house and if I was rich I would buy into the franchise and put one in Layton!
3. Spent the entire day playing with Aron and Ash. It felt great to not care about getting work done. I wish my life could be more carefree all the time.
4. Watched So You Think You Can Dance and decided I can't wait until the audition part is over. Did anyone see the Salt Lake Auditions? My break dance teacher, Gev, was on it!!! How cool for my studio!!! :)

Today I...
1. Had a Jimmy Johns sandwich AGAIN! I have to take advantage of it while I have one where I'm at!
2. Test drove a used Nissan Pathfinder. I liked it, but Aron didn't. Plus it's just not practical with gas prices and me driving over 60 miles a day to work and back twice a day.
3. Am taking my little guy swimming, since that's all he wants to do on our Idaho Falls vacation.

Tomorrow I...
1. Get to relax some more! Yay!
2. Am going to a new Italian Restaraunt.
3. Will have one more day of vacation before it's back to real life.

In the next year...
1. I will hopefully live in Bountiful again.
2. I will hopefully not have to work as much so I can be a better mom and wife.
3. I will be dancing more for me!!! I am so excited! I signed up to take advanced nonmajor jazz from Tammy Squires, my all time favorite teacher at the U! In October I am going to NYC with my best dancing buddies to dance all week!! I have decided that I will have a much happier life if I make myself do something for me. Dance is my outlet, my emotional release. I need that to be happy! Teaching isn't the same as dancing!

I tag Lorraine!!!

I loved reading your tag. fun. Thanks for thinking my dress is cute, I got it at Downeast for 10 bucks, sweet deal, huh? I've already worn it like 4 times since it got warm. Wish you lived closer and we could swap clothes like the good 'ol days. Sounds like Idaho was fun. I miss it kind of. Not in the winter but summers are the best there. Did you go to Jimmy Johns in Pocatello or Idaho Falls? I LOVE BEAR WORLD. Ashton probably had a blast. great vacation. AND how totally exciting about NYC! I'm completely jealous.

I loved your tag. Thanks for tagging me back, I actually really do need something to blog about lately since I feel like YOU! All work and no play. You are a great mother and wife though. And I don't know how you do it!
P.S. How come I didn't know you were going on vacation!

Hey Ames! I loved the tag! It's always so funny to read what we were up to decades ago! Way to go with the dancing! It's so hard to take time out and do stuff for ourselves! And... I'm a freak, I know, but I LOVE So You Think You Can Dance! It's my all time favorite show!
